This duo, though new, is making a splash in the Michigan cosplay community. With their enemies-to-lovers dynamic, they are a dazzling sight of craftsmanship, creativity, and theatrics. The two balance each other with their unique skill-sets. Yuriio specializes in intricate makeup that brings her characters straight out of the media, while Azira focuses on the little details in each cosplay to truly bring these characters to life. Both cosplayers prioritize learning from others in their community to continually improve their craft, whether that be styling gravity defying wigs, or sewing jackets that look like they leapt out of the screen. Though both have been in the cosplay scene for over ten years, Yuriio has been consistently attending conventions, while Azira was finding her way back into fandom culture.

KittiLeeCreates

Located in Michigan, Kitti has been cosplaying officially since 2020, creating her online persona in 2022 on Instagram and YouTube under the handle “kittileecreates.” As a former theater kid, she lends her skills in makeup, hair styling, costuming, and acting to creating cosplays of whatever strikes her interest! She loves old shoujo anime but also modern cartoons, inspiring her signature cosplays from Revolutionary Girl Utena, Sailor Moon, Sk8 the Infinity, and Hazbin Hotel. She particularly likes detail work and adding her own personal—often glittery—touches to existing designs. Outside of cosplay, Kitti is an avid artist, writer, and collector of dolls, rocks, books, and vinyl records, occasionally showing off her other interests alongside her cosplays on social media.

KittyLizzieCosplay

Kitty has 10 years worth of craft skills that have come together for the past 2 as a professional cosplayer. As a fresh face to the scene, she is ecstatic to see where this venture takes her! Horror, Fantasy, and nostalgic characters are prominent, especially her Pyramid Head and Evil Lyn. She hopes to further expand on more Masters Of the Universe characters in the coming years. This event she will be showcasing her most recent project, her Stitch Witch! 3 months of crochet to create this unique floral fantasy ensemble. Kitty believes that there isn't a wrong way to cosplay, and loves featuring fiber art in her work.
